Upon graduation, she became the assistant coach due to her passion for helping athletes reach their potential. During her time as a student, she conducted research on the use of high-tempo music to affect gait mechanics and injury risk, which was then published and presented at the ASB East Research Conference in 2020. She has extensive experience with 3D running gait analysis and recently had a research study accepted for poster presentation at the 2023 PA APTA annual conference.
Mikaela is passionate about running and strength training, as well as all forms of fitness, and has been an avid runner for over a decade.
